Thrifty Candle Making Crafty Tip
Rather than throw out those bits and pieces of old wax, here's some great ideas on how to utilize it.
- Make fire starters. These are super easy, you can dip the wax in paper, combine a mixture of wax and saw dust and or just make wee candles. Recycle two items at once by using an empty cardboard egg carton.
- Create chunk candles. Great for little pieces or large quantities and they turn out quite pretty too.
- Recycle tea light containers and make your own little tea lights.
- If the wax has a nice scent but no wick, melt it in an oil burner to enjoy the aroma.
- Make a wax-dipped teddy bear!
