Candles Crafty Tip
To easily remove a melted wax tart from your tart burner, just pop it in the freezer for a little while and it should pop right out. Make sure it is completely cooled before doing this and let the holder warm up to room temp before adding a new tart to enjoy.

Scented Soy Wood Wick Candle Project - To get the best results when crafting with soy wax, always use essential oil scents and never use alcohol based oils. The new wooden wicks work great with soy wax, but avoid using dark colored dyes with them. Too much dye can clog the wooden wicks. Try a project using the wood wicks, people love the crackling sound from them. The traditional braided cotton wicks can be used in a full range of deep colors. Most candle wick suppliers now sell the wooden wicks and offer additional crafting instructions. I hope you will try this new craft idea using soy waxes... enjoy.

Soy of the North

Soy of the North creates decorative, handmade soy wax candles in the UK. Each one is made from natural, eco-friendly materials. Our aromatherapy candles only use pure essential oils.

Candle Making Crafty Tip
If you have a little bit of wax left over after making your candles, pour it into a votive candle mould. If you do this each time you make candles, not only will you not waste wax, but you will also end up with a decorative multi-layered votive candle too.
