Children's Craft Project Crafty Tip A great children's craft project is to make Christmas wreaths out of green tissue paper and a wreath-shaped piece of poster board. Cut or tear the tissue to make small squares. Older children can wrap the tissue over the eraser end of a pencil and by twirling the pencil, they can create a neat effect with the paper. They can then use the pencil to press and glue the tissue onto the poster board. Younger children can simply roll the paper squares into little balls and glue those onto the poster board. Cover some of the poster board with red paper to create holly or some gold paper to make the wreath look like it is decorated with a garland. Finish off the wreaths by adding a festive holiday ribbon. Making Christmas decorations to hang on your front door or in your classroom will make it feel like Christmas is not that far away. So enjoy the beginning of the holiday season, because the holidays will be here and gone before you know it!
