Great Amigurumi Websites

Perky the Cat
This crochet kitty, while not originally designed as Amigurumi, is created using the same techniques. A special thanks to the site owner for sharing an old crochet pattern and making it new again.

Amigurumi Crafty Tip

The original pattern calls for traditional 4-ply acrylic. To make your kitty as an Amigurumi use sock yarn or other similarly thin yarn.

Amigurumi Crafty Tip

To mark your place on a pattern when you need to stop working and to keep from getting confused about which line of the pattern you are working on as you work, I always use small posty notes. They are cheap and can be used over and over again.

Amigurumi Crafty Tip

It is easier to hide your stitches if you sew on the face of your amigurumi before you close up the head.
