This site is dedicated to the art of Victorian and Edwardian crochet. Along with other products, we offer instruction books containing crochet patterns for very elegant bead crochet purses, amulet bags, and chokers.
To block your work, wet your crocheted piece or dampen with a wet cloth, stretch, reshape, and pin to an ironing board or some such surface and allow it to thoroughly dry. I like to use a product called "Quilter's Cut'n Press."

If you are sick of getting tangled yarn as you were working on your project, try this - place a small box on the floor or any place at your convenience, puncture the top of the box and place the yarn inside and let the yarn through the small hole. This may work for a few yarn at the same time. If the box is too light, consider placing something heavy into the box to weigh it down.
