When using a plasma torch to cut out items with the same general shape, make a jig out of plywood rather than trying to measure the shape out each time. Then take the general shape and make additional cuts/adjustments for individual items to make them unique. It may take more time up front to make the jig, but in the long run will save you a ton of time and make all of the shapes uniform.
