1. Feel like you have too many beads you don't need anymore and don't know what to do with them? Find a local community of jewelry artists and organize a bead swap!
2. To prolong the life of your sterling silver jewelry, never shower, swim or bath with your jewelry on; keep it in a dry non-humid place, in a jewelry box if possible. 3. To polish silver jewelry, first boil water and then pour it in a dish. Lay your jewelry flat on the bottom, and sprinkle a bit of baking soda on top of the water and jewelry. Leave it for 20-30 minutes, then take it out and gently dry with a towel. Note that this is only for silver jewelry - if your jewelry has gemstones, this may not be appropriate.
