Crafty Tips:	A great way to clean real natural-colour (not dyed) pearls is to submerge them in iodine-rich sea salt water. Just put some salt into a suitable bowl (add a few drops of iodine), cover with about an inch or two with water, add pearls and swirl them around for a bit, leave to stand for a few minutes & swirl some more, then dry/polish with a natural soft cloth.
