There are many advantages to using synthetic macrame cord. This cord is washable and fade proof. Also, this cord can be brushed with a pet brush when creating animals or wall hangings. You can also fuse cords together or melt the ends using a cigarette lighter.

Micro macrame is a unique twist on the original 70's macrame design. Using cording instead of yarn or hemp, you can create some smaller, more elegant designs that are perfect for bracelets, necklaces and earrings.
I've found that setting up your work environment with a board that has a foam surface, makes it so much easier to secure your project while working on it. I've cut out a piece of foam, attached it to a clipboard and I use that to move around with as I work. It's perfect for designing with the C-Lon cording.
