Crafty Tip
When photographing pets the lighting and focus are the two most important things. Firstly use natural light, avoid using a flash at all costs, not only for the "red eye" effect but it also often scares your pet. Second, take a close up shot, using a sharp crisp focus.

Crafty Tip
For safety reasons, at least one jump ring should not be soldered closed in jewelry. If an item constructed this way is caught on something the jump ring will open, allowing the jewelry to breakaway. Hopefully, both the person and the jewelry will be relatively unharmed. Just add another jump ring and the item will be as good as new.

Watercolor art by Judy Huang of landscapes, florals, pets, still life, houses, and portraits. I do commissioned works of portraits, houses, and pets in watercolors or in colored pencil drawings. Learn more about my art through a watercolor lesson and tutorial on my site. Original watercolor art is sold with a frame or without.
Editor's Note: Rather than shrink an entire piece down to a size that fits on Crafty Tips, I have included a small section of a larger work so that this artist's fine work can be truly appreciated.
