Vintage Glass Jewels in Brass Settings
Romantic and vintage - beautiful crystal glass jewels are perfect for bridal earrings or necklaces - do it yourself and save (and save the planet too - no mining here, these are true vintage!) Our heart jewels measure 15mm (approx. 5/8") x 14mm, and the brass settings with vintage patina make the hearts easy to use. You'll love them!

Use vintage beads and jewels and be kind to the planet. Add earwires or jump ring and chain and your jewelry will be ready to use - easy and beautiful :-)

Crafty Tip

If you are new to beading, make sure you are using an appropriate flex wire strength for your stringing projects. Too many times beginners have come into the store, with broken project in hand, not realizing they needed a medium or heavy strength for their larger pendants and projects.

Crafty Tip

Using Mod Podge (which we do in all our items) can be very tricky. Many times the paper is wrinkled and gets bubbles. Here's a trick to using this product. Put the Mod Podge thickly on both the paper and the item it is going on. Start putting the paper down at the top and slowly lowering and pressing it at the same time. Use a rolling pin (or any a brayer if you have one) to roll over the paper to push out any air bubbles.

Crafty Tip

Wherever possible always dress dolls from the feet up. This keeps hair, eyelashes and face painting safe. It is also a good idea to cover dolls hands before inserting in sleeves to avoid catching. A doll sock is ideal for this. Put it over the dolls hand, insert arm in the sleeve and then gently pull the sock out.

Crafted Handbags

Crafty Tip

A great way to put scraps of paper and old books to use is by turning them into fun scrapbooks or albums. Collect all the scrap pieces and bind them between old book covers!

It Tops the Cake
Why use fresh flowers when silk will last a lifetime? I personally hand craft these beautiful wedding cake toppers and inserts from silk flowers and greenery. Unlike real flowers, these gorgeous silk flower cake toppers will last forever and make wonderful keepsakes for you and your loved ones! I hope that you will find something special to top your wedding cake!

Crafty Tip

Don't forget the hot glue! Hot glue, or hot melt adhesive (HMA), is a form of adhesive which is intended to be heated to its melting point. Using a glue gun, hot glue can be applied to any sort of surface (plastic, wood, metal, etc) to create a strong and lasting bond. Do yourself a favor: If you're planning a new craft project, take a look at how hot glue can help make things a whole lot easier!

Crafty Tip

Stuffing a soft toy can be a difficult thing. My tip is to always start with stuffing the small parts like the feet. Save the bigger parts like the body for last. To stuff very small parts a chopstick is very usefull!
