A wonderful quilter's blog that shares adventures in life and with a needle and thread of a very busy quilter. Be inspired by her projects, learn about great new quilting tools she has tried and find sources for great patterns, fabrics and quilting tools.
Sewing Crafty Tip
Separate embroidery floss or pearl cotton one strand at a time. You will be surprised out how little it tangles and how much easier it is to separate than when you try to do 2 or 3 at once.

I write about quilting and various other crafts. I give tips when they present themselves in the blog and post lots of photographs of finished and in progress projects.
Quilting Crafty Tip
Use an overlocker for your quilt top seams. You will have no more splitting quarter inch seams.

Sandi enjoys anything "that lets her creative spirit fly" but among all of the words she uses to describe herself, quiltmaker comes first. As you get to peek over her shoulder into the life of her family, you'll also find many wonderful craft projects and quilt patterns that you can try. She's been stitching for over 40 years and her blog is a veritable showcase for all of her lovely quilts. This busy lady also stitches, creates miniatures, designs and offers quilting and crafting classes. Visit A Legacy of Stitches to learn more about the wonderful things she is creating and be sure to check out her Wooly Buddies and Seasons BOM Yahoo! Groups.
Quilting Crafty Tip
