Crafty Tip
Where You Bean Fabric & Craft has provided a wonderful tutorial for a baby's toy.
How to make a simple baby taggy toy.

I dont know about you but my baby would much rather play with the tags on any of her toys. Here is a simple to make toy that incorporates this that babies love.

1. Cut two 8.5 inch squares out of a fabric of your choice. Cut one 8 inch square of a light weight pallon/interfacing.

2. Cut a variety ribbons, ric rac, elastics etc. to place around the edge as the taggies. You will need at least 12 pieces cut 2" each. Singe one end to prevent fraying.

3. Place one piece of fabric with the print side facing up. Place your chosen taggies around the edges evenly, be careful not to place them to close to the corners where you will sew. The taggies need to be touching the edge of the fabric and placed inwards on top of the fabric. Dab each taggie into place with a small amount of glue. I find the hot glue gun works best.

4. Place your pallon on top of the first piece of fabric & then place your second piece of fabric on top with the print facing down. Pin into place.

5. Sew around the edges with a straight stitch a 1/4 inch from the edge leaving a small hole to then turn your fabric in. Once fabric is turned out the correct way sew the small hole shut.

A voila, you have made your little one a toy they will love :)
