Crafty Tips:	Tearing Handmade Papers To get a nice torn look on the edge of thick handmade papers, place a ruler about 1/2cm away from your tear line. Using a damp cotton ball, dab the 1/2cm strip. Allow the paper to stand for a minute, then carefully tear the damp part of the paper away. You get a lovely rough and ragged, yet tidy and professional finish to the edge of your paper.
